Word of his death, first shared by Cats’ Pause founder Oscar Combs, traveled quickly from Lexington to St. Louis and stirred memories across generations of basketball fans. The front of this In Loving Memory Cliff Hagan Shirt is anchored by a vintage monochrome photograph of Hagan frozen mid-shot. Both arms rise high above his head, the ball balanced in his right palm while his left hand steadies it from the side, and his eyes lock upward on the target. He wears a classic white Hawks jersey with arched block lettering and a bold number 16, edged by striped trim at the collar and armholes, while the striped waistband of his shorts fades softly into the dark background. Beneath the portrait, a tribute block reads “IN LOVING MEMORY” in clean, spaced capitals, followed by “CLIFF HAGAN” in heavy white type and the years “1931-2026” set just below.
Cliff Hagan is one of the rare players who won championships at the high school, college, and professional levels: a 1949 state title with Owensboro High, the 1951 NCAA crown at Kentucky, and the 1958 title with the St. Louis Hawks, who beat Boston in six games. At just 6-foot-4, he scored over much taller defenders with a hook shot he could release with either hand, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar later said watching Hagan succeed with it convinced him the hook could work at the pro level. In 1978, he became the first Kentucky player enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.’
For Big Blue Nation, his name kept echoing long after the final buzzer. He returned to Lexington to lead the athletics department as athletic director, and Kentucky’s baseball team still plays at Cliff Hagan Stadium, named for him in 1993. Back in Owensboro, the Boys & Girls Club bearing his name has given local kids a safe place to learn and play for decades. - Mind the fabric. 100% cotton pieces may shrink slightly after the first wash. Cotton-poly blends hold their shape better. Wash cold and tumble dry low to keep the fit true.

- Order changes & cancellations. Need to update or cancel? Reach out within 6 hours of ordering. After that, your item is already in production and changes are no longer possible.
- Production & shipping time. Please allow 3–5 business days for production, plus 5–10 business days for US standard shipping. Holidays and major sale events may add a few extra days.
- Tracking your order. You’ll get a confirmation email right after checkout and a tracking number as soon as your package ships. If anything looks off, contact us before the carrier marks it delivered.
- Color & print disclaimer. Because monitors display colors differently, the actual shade may vary slightly from what you see on screen. Tiny print placement differences are part of the handcrafted, made-to-order process.
- Returns & refunds. We back every order with a 30-day easy return policy for damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Made-to-order pieces can’t be returned for size or color preference, so please measure carefully.
- Payment & checkout. Checkout is fully encrypted and we accept all major US credit cards plus PayPal. Your payment info is never stored on our servers.

A) 30-Day Return Window
Our return window is 30 days from the day delivery is completed. To qualify for a return, the product must be in its original condition — unused, with all original tags and packaging intact, and a valid receipt or proof of purchase. After 30 days, the order is considered accepted by the customer and no refunds or exchanges can be issued.
B) Return Labels
Return labels are not automatically included with your order. To start a return, please email [email protected] and our team will share the next steps with you.
C) How to Request a Return

- Your order number and full name
- Proof of purchase (screenshot or receipt)
- Reason for the return
- Clear photos or a short video if the item is faulty or damaged
After review (usually within 24–48 hours), you will receive a confirmation email. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days. Banks may need an additional 3–5 business days to post the funds to your account.
D) Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

E) Exchanges
We offer exchanges only for defective items, wrong items, wrong sizes, or items damaged in transit. To start an exchange, simply email [email protected].
F) Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping is free when the item is defective, damaged, or shipped incorrectly. If the return is due to a change of mind or because the wrong item was ordered, the customer covers the return shipping cost. Each return request must include clear photos or videos that show the item and the reason for the return.
G) Refunds
Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process from the moment we receive the returned item. Once the package is received and inspected, we will send a confirmation email and start the refund.
If you have not received your refund yet:
- Double-check your bank account and recent transactions.
- Contact your credit card issuer — refunds may take additional time to officially post.

H) Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled within 6 hours of purchase for a full refund. After this window, cancellations are treated as a “change of mind” return and must follow the standard return process.
